THE APPLICATION AREA
Filtration is a very important, but unfortunately often neglected tool for the effective maintenance of cement mill oil systems.
In cement mills there are many oil systems like gear transmissions to turn the mills and rotate ovens. Furthermore a lot of hydraulic power packs are installed for varius purposes.
THE TYPICAL PROBLEMS CONCERNING THIS APPLICATION AREA
The main problems at cement mills concerning oil systems are dust particles that cannot be avoided in the process of producing cement.
These particles are often leading into increased wear and tear of the moving components of the oil systems.

OIL TYPES
The oils used in the gear systems are both mineral and synthetic oils in the viscosity level of ISO VG 320-460.
The hydraulic oils used in the hydraulic systems are mostly mineral oils with a viscosity level of ISO 46-68.
As lubrication in the mill bearing systems gear oil is often used as lubricating fluid. Mainly mineral oils with viscosities from ISO VG 320-460.
