Oxidation of Oil |
Oxidation of oil happens when Oxygen steals electrons from oil molecules thus making the oil molecule polar. A polar molecule can reach with other polar compounds and thus a chain reaction is started resulting in degradation of the oil, increase in viscosity and finally acid production. The processes of oil oxidation are very complex, but one thing is certain:
CJC Fine Filters can remove oxidation byproducts from oil.
This will increase the life time of the oil, as well as maximise uptime of the oil system since stops due to valves sticking or blocking because of oxidation can be avoided.
